Jean Dreyer Pure Texan, Period and Proud to be! I have loved sewing since I was 4 or 5 years old. As I grew older I would sew for other people. I considered it relaxing and enjoyable hobby. I also made clothes for my five children (they now have children of their own). Looking at old pictures, they laugh about some of the designs of fabric I used way back then to make their clothes. This is the USA of Texas website. I have devoted my soul to and strive to provide Great Customer Service by shipping orders quickly. My customers will be happy no matter what it takes. I will travel the small Texas cities to bring you unique Texas gifts as this site is dedicated to bringing Texas as close to you as possible. On occassion I will throw in a unique design of my own. I have known for some time now that when giving a gift, the recepient appreciates it so much more if it is a handmade gift. It shows you searched out the gift, put some thought into it rather than going to the retail store and picked up the first thing that comes to mind. I have had customers email me and ask for custom items and I have been able to satisfy their needs. I'm ready to enjoy my sewing skills and hopefully you'll find something at USA of Texas.com you just can't live without or together we can come up with that perfect gift. I love making the Wine Bags. I will continue at pairing up with some of the Texas Wineries that have shown interest in carrying the Burlap Wine Bags. If you are in the market for a personalized wine bag, just let me know what you want and I'll bet I can create it for you. I have been easing into some Texas Food products and will continue to seek out those fine Texas delicacies. I am sure you will see a lot more food and gift items that will be sure to please. And speaking of edible, Soy wax is an edible product. I have found making soy candles and melts to be enjoyable and relaxing (and a break from sewing). USA of Texas candles and melts are awesome. They are made from natural soy wax, double scented, clean burning and environmentally safe. I enjoy discovering different scents to fill my home and yours too. (The melts are my favorite but I do enjoy the candles as well.) Sweet Orange Chili Pepper is one of my favorite scents, but I do like the scent "Leather and Lace". Please let me know if you prefer the candles over the melts and which scents are your favorite. My plans for USA of Texas is to continue traveling the nooks and crannies throughout Texas and find unique handmade items to place on the website, not only for you to observe but also for you to be able to purchase. Texas is a large and unique state with many unique people exploding with hidden talent. "Sharing your Love of Texas" is a unique way of saying to someone, "I miss you". If you've ever lived in Texas and moved away for a while and returned to this great state, you will know what I mean.
